David was such a generous host when we were Friends International Reach volunteers in Cambridge.  He let us treat the house as our own and he was always happy to welcome guests to the house and to make them feel at home.

David was very generous with his time and resources and was also practical.  One time, David drove a group of us from the international cafes for an outing to Wimpole National Trust Hall and Farm.  Another memory I have is of David helping me to mend a punctured bicycle tyre, turning the bicycle upside-down in the kitchen and getting to work straight away!
